He regretted pulling the trigger, but never bend the knee to the absolute.
他曾懊悔扣下扳机，但未曾向权贵屈膝。
He made a heap of corpses.
他杀人如麻。
Conscious of transgression made him refuse to appear in public to the death.
沉重的罪孽使他无言以对世人。
I should respect his wishes, as the follower in his footsteps.
我尊重他的理想并追随他的足迹。
