In the past, Lucas gets close to a counselor evaluating his early release. It is eventually revealed that the counselor worked for Mr. Rabbit. Mr. Rabbit's employees attack the sheriff's office but are killed by Proctor and Burton. Lucas hands over his badge and weapon to Brock and exchanges himself to Mr. Rabbit for Max. Sugar, Job, Emmett, Siobhan, and Brock go to Mr. Rabbits out post to save Lucas and a shoot out occurs. Sugar is shot in the shoulder and Brock is critically wounded (but manages to kill one of Mr. Rabbit's employees who was planning to blow up the room). Mr. Rabbit tortures Lucas and prepares to kill him when Carrie arrives. After a brief exchange of words, Carrie shoots her father twice.
