你未成熟却潜力无穷,你是良知与共识;
你将伴随历史的演变,随最根植扭曲的态变,你是不确定性(不确定性!);
你是争议的来源,是万物的源泉(起点);
你是指尖的雪花,触之即碎的花瓣(纯净-娇艳!);
你是最具可塑性的容器,是两种不同的极端(演变);

And they are dancing,
the board floor slamming under the jackboots,
and the fiddlers grinning hideously over their canted pieces.
Towering over them all is the judge,

his small feet lively and quick and now in doubletime ,

huge and pale and hairless,
like an enormous infant.
He never sleeps, he says.
He says he’ll never die.

and he swings about and takes possession of one of the fiddles ,

Solitude孤独(by ELLA WHEELER WILCOX 个人译作)
Laugh, and the world laughs with you;
欢笑,这世界与你一同欢笑;
Weep, and you weep alone;
哭泣,你一人独自哭泣;
For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,
But has trouble enough of its own.
Sing, and the hills will answer;
吟唱,这山将会回答你;
Sigh, it is lost on the air;
叹息,消逝在这空气中;
The echoes bound to a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.

Rejoice, and men will seek you;
狂喜,人们将会搜寻到你;
Grieve, and they turn and go;
惨痛,他们转身来了又走;
They want full measure of all your pleasure,
But they do not need your woe.
Be glad, and your friends are many;
庆幸吧,你朋友数量许多;
Be sad, and you lose them all,—
There are none to decline your nectared wine,
But alone you must drink life’s gall.

Feast, and your halls are crowded;
盛宴,你的厅堂摩肩擦踵;
Fast, and the world goes by.
Succeed and give, and it helps you live,
But no man can help you die.
There is room in the halls of pleasure
For a large and lordly train,
But one by one we must all file on
Through the narrow aisles of pain.

Jack-in-the-Box
by Elder Olson
Devil sprang from box,
Frightening the children, who would not be quieted.
In vain they were wooed with all the other toys;
他们徒劳用所有其他玩具吸引;
Expecting new terror, they would not look or listen; like an angry demon
Their fear ran around the house, from room to room.
At last their mother bore them off to bed.
Blakely lit his pipe,
Let it go out again with thinking: something more had been released
Than long-necked Punch, nodding and leering still.
As in the ancient casuistry of Eden,
Falsehood, accepted, falsified all truth;
谬误,公认,伪造了所有真理;
All the old pleasant truths now fell away,
Flimsy as Christmas papers; there was the house, now,
Pretty with snows, with candy roofs and sills,
Sparkling and false as the house in the fairy tale;
像童谣里的洋房一样光芒四射又虚假;
As if in a haunted forest shone the tree
With fruits - pear, apple, plum - all poison-bright.
Outside, the wind swept away the Christmas illusion, raising a white fog
Where toys like Martians stalked, destroying all.
He thought: how simply terror can enter a house;
他想:恐惧是多么容易侵入一座房子;
The angel, treed, was trembling, that had promised peace.

I can see myself now
after all these suicide days and nights,
being wheeled out of one of those sterile rest homes
(of course, this is only if I get famous and lucky)
by a subnormal and bored nurse
there I am sitting upright in my wheelchair
almost blind, eyes rolling backward into the dark part of my skull
looking
看着
for the mercy of death

O, yeah, yeah

I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud

(BY WILLIAM WORDSWORTH
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
成群般,金黄色的水仙花;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
是为天赐的孤独;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,

By the name of Annabel Lee;
其名为安娜贝尔•李;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea,

But we loved with a love that was more than love—
I and my Annabel Lee—
With a love that the wingèd seraphs of Heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
冻伤我美丽的安娜贝尔•李;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,
Went envying her and me—
Yes!—that was the reason (as all men know,

That the wind came out of the cloud by night,

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we—
Of many far wiser than we—
And neither the angels in Heaven above
Nor the demons down under the sea
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
我那美丽的安娜贝尔•李;
For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
我那美丽的安娜贝尔•李;

Parade游行
(by Arthur Rimbaud个人译制)
Dare very strong funny. Several have exploited your worlds. Without needs, and in no hurry to implement their brilliant faculties and experience of your consciences. What mature men! Dazed eyes to the way the summer, red and black night, traffic, steel dive golden stars; facies deformed sealed, blêmis, burned; frolicsome hoarseness! The cruel process of tinsel!-There are some young people, how they would look Cherub?-Filled frightening voice and some dangerous resources. They are sent to take back the city, decked out in a luxury disgusting.
O most violent Paradise of the furious grimace! No comparison with your Fakirs and other stage antics. In improvised, with the taste of bad dream costumes, they play ballads, tragedies of bandits and spiritual demigods such as history or religion have never been. Chinese, Hottentots, gypsies, silly, hyenas, Molochs, old dementia, sinister demons, they combine the popular tours, maternal, with bestial poses and tenderness. They interpret new plays and songs "Good Girls." Master jugglers, they transform the place and the people and exercise the magnetic comedy. Eyes blazing, blood sings, bones widen, tears and red streaks trickle. Their mockery or terror lasts one minute, or whole month.
I alone have the key to this savage parade.

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a
rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

Ode to the West Wind
(BY PERCY BYSSHE SHELLEY
I
O wild West Wind, thou breath of Autumn's being,
Thou, from whose unseen presence the leaves dead
Are driven, like ghosts from an enchanter fleeing,
Yellow, and black, and pale, and hectic red,
Pestilence-stricken multitudes: O thou,
Who chariotest to their dark wintry bed
The winged seeds, where they lie cold and low,
Each like a corpse within its grave, until
Thine azure sister of the Spring shall blow
Her clarion o'er the dreaming earth, and fill
(Driving sweet buds like flocks to feed in air)
With living hues and odours plain and hill:

Wild Spirit, which art moving everywhere;

Destroyer and preserver; hear, oh hear!

II
Thou on whose stream, mid the steep sky's commotion,
Loose clouds like earth's decaying leaves are shed,
Shook from the tangled boughs of Heaven and Ocean,
Angels of rain and lightning: there are spread
On the blue surface of thine aëry surge,
Like the bright hair uplifted from the head
Of some fierce Maenad, even from the dim verge
Of the horizon to the zenith's height,
The locks of the approaching storm. Thou dirge of the dying year,

to which this closing night
Will be the dome of a vast sepulchre,
Vaulted with all thy congregated might
Of vapours, from whose solid atmosphere

(LES MURRAY
I sound my sight, and flexing skeletons eddy in our common wall.
With a sonic bolt from the fragrant chamber of my head, I burst the lives of some and slow, backwashing them into my mouth.
I lighten, breathe, and laze below again.
And peer in long low tones over the curve of Hard to river-tasting and oil-tasting coasts, to the grand grinding coasts of rigid air.
How the wall of our medium has a shining, pumping rim:
the withstood crush of deep flight in it, perpetual entry!
Only the holes of eyesight and breath still tie us to the dwarf-making Air, where true sight barely functions.
The power of our wall likewise guards us from slowness of the rock Hard, its life-powdering compaction,
from ist fissures and streamy layers that we sing into sight but are silent, fixed, disjointed in. Eyesight is a leakage of nearby into us, and shows us the taste of food conformed over its spines.
But our greater sight is uttered.
I sing beyond the curve of distance the living joined bones of my song-fellows; I sound a deep volcano’s valve tubes storming whitely in black weight;
我在遥远的距离外歌唱与我一同奏响的同伴们的生命之骨;我发出深邃火山的闸门管道 如白色雷暴在黑暗重力之中轰鸣;
I receive an island’s slump,
song-scrambling ship’s heartbeats, and the sheer shear of current-forms
bracketing a seamount.
The wall, which running blind I demolish,
heals, prickling me with sonars. My every long shaped cry re-establishes the world, and centres its ringing structure.

In Dryden's day,

Were brightened by

And carried on the

When wolves and witchy
Minions of the Night
Were Fables not,
but valid cause for fright,
Then could a man,
alone, with toiling hands,
From Ink and Paper
craft enchanted lands,
And out the common word

Pluck Wonders fresh,

These webs of words

But now the tropick

And Science

He sings no living lays

What time is ours?
What name is it assigned?

In heavy tomes of learned men I find
No trace, no sign,

I pity deep the modern poet's lot:
One called to speak,

Those poets striving on,

And thus this thirst of mine

Laeta; a Lament
(By H. P. Lovecraft
Respectfully Dedicated to Rheinhart Kleiner, Esq.
With Compliments of the Author

How sad droop the willows by Zulal’s fair side,
Where so lately I stray’d with my raven-hair’d bride:
Ev’ry light-floating lily, each flow’r on the shore,
Folds in sorrow since Laeta can see them no more!

Oh, blest were the days when in childhood and hope
With my Laeta I rov’d o’er the blossom-clad slope,
Plucking white meadow-daisies and ferns by the stream,
As we laugh’d at the ripples that twinkle and gleam.

Not a bloom deck’d the mead that could rival in grace
The dear innocent charms of my Laeta’s fair face;
Not a thrush thrill’d the grove with a carol so choice
As the silvery strains of my Laeta’s sweet voice.

The shy Nymphs of the woodland, the fount and the plain,
Strove to equal her beauty, but strove all in vain;
力图均分她的美丽,却只分得了虚无;
Yet no envy they bore her, while fruitless they strove,
For so pure was my Laeta, they could only love!

When the warm breath of Auster play’d soft o’er the flow’rs,
And young Zephyrus rustled the gay scented bow’rs,
Ev’ry breeze seem’d to pause as it drew near the fair,
Too much aw’d at her sweetness to tumble her hair.

How fond were our dreams on the day when we stood
In the ivy-grown temple beside the dark wood;
站在漆黑的树林旁 长满常青藤的圣堂;
When our pledges we seal’d at the sanctify’d shrine,
And I knew that my Laeta forever was mine!

How blissful our thoughts when the wild autumn came,
And the forests with scarlet and gold were aflame;
似火燃烧的秋林 猩红与金黄间斑斓流彩;
Yet how heavy my heart when I first felt the fear
That my starry-eyed Laeta would fade with the year!

The pastures were sere and the heavens were grey
When I laid my lov’d Laeta forever away,
And the river god pity’d, as weeping I pac’d
Mingling hot bitter tears with his cold frozen waste.

Now the flow’rs have return’d, but they bloom not so sweet
As in days when they blossom’d round Laeta’s dear feet;
不曾如当年在莱塔脚下 盛开的那般完美;
And the willows complain to the answering hill,
And the thrushes that once were so happy are still.

The green meadows and groves in their loneliness pine,
Whilst the Dryads no more in their madrigals join,
The breeze once so joyous now
murmurs and sighs,
And blows soft o’er the spot where my lov’d Laeta lies.

So pensive I roam o’er the desolate lawn
Where we wander’d and lov’d in the days that are gone,
And I yearn for the autumn, when Zulal’s blue tide
Shall sing low by my grave at the lov’d Laeta’s side.
