miyoshi fumi、愛媛県出身、東京都在住。サウンドアーティスト。幼少より録音機器や楽器にふれ、音創りと空想が生活の一部となる。 切り取られた日常はサウンドコラージュによって独自のリズムを構築し、電子音に混ざり合い、より空間の広がりと物語を想像させる。 また、ノイズや音響的な側面から生まれる音の偶然性を必然のアプローチに変化させ、有機的に表現している。 容姿と相対する硬派なサウンドと鮮烈なヴィジュアルイメージで注目を集め、過去７枚の作品発表。 世界的な女性電子音楽家cokiyuの“Your Thorn” REMIX CONTESTでの、最優秀賞作品選出や映画への楽曲提供、コーネリアスのサウンド・プログラマ、美島豊明のユニットの楽曲リミックス、 最近では、アルバム作品をモチーフにしたアートディレクターYU-KA TANAKAとの”音と立体”のライブパフォーマンスなどジャンルレスな活動も各方面から話題となっている。2013年7.17待望の世界デビュー盤”Tough and Tender”をリリース。
34423 is a solo project by Fumi Miyoshi, a Japanese female artist hailing from Tokyo, Japan. This mysterious alias comes
from her real name that Fumi Miyoshi could be pronouced as 34423 in Japanese. She has aleady self-published many albums
and “Tough and Tender” is her official debut album comprised of all of her past favorite tracks. Once you get to know her
personally, we all are surprised of the unbalance of her cute little looks and the massive hard sound that she makes. She is
also aware of her dual nature and has entitled the album “Tough and Tender”. While the tenderness lies within her spirits, the
tough part is the overall sound that she produces, and it’s not so difficult to find links with artists like Aphex Twin and Nine
Inch Nails which she speaks as her big influences in her younger days, but her way of output is more minimal without a
glimpse of extra poppiness almost like hard minimal techno with simply beautiful melodies which may come from her piano
backgrouond. She has recently done a remix for Cornelius’s manipulator’s new project Mishmash.
