Un Chien Andalou is a 1929 French silent surrealist short film by Spanish director Luis Buñuel and artist Salvador Dalí. It was Buñuel's first film and was initially released in 1929 with a limited showing at Studio des Ursulines in Paris, but became popular and ran for eight months.
Un Chien Andalou has no plot in the conventional sense of the word. The chronology of the film is disjointed, jumping from the initial "once upon a time" to "eight years later" without the events or characters changing. It uses dream logic in narrative flow that can be described in terms of then-popular Freudian free association, presenting a series of tenuously related scenes.

达利跨界合作，这是对蒙太奇手法的精彩运用。若说隐喻，应是在性隐喻和对传统之冲破一方面。优秀的作品很多都善于展现梦境，本片亦如是。以电影标准评分。
超现实主义电影的开山之作。故事是根据精神分析理论塑造的充满象征主义的梦境，主要讲性的潜意识被社会规则、礼教等束缚而压抑。梦境完全放弃现实逻辑的展现让观众对本片的理解充满难度。
明明是实验电影，为什么会被分到这个分类里面。印象最深的地方，就是开头那个刀片划过眼球的镜头
