Let X=number of girls before a boy.
X~Geo(0.5)
E[X]=(1-0.5)/0.5=1
For each family, there can only be one boy as once a boy is born, the family will immediately stop having new children. Hence, the ratio of number of boys and that of girls is 1/E[X]=1/1=1. This means that the ratio will not be affected by the process of "咱们家香火不能断必须要生个男孩".
Section 4.8 establishes the amazing fact that the median of a Poisson-Binomial is very close to its expected value."

A服从二项分布B(n,p),p>0.5,试讨论A>np(即A期望)的概率与np的关系。
P(A>np)>P(A<np)
P(A>np),P(A<np)均<0.5
