Book-to-film adaptations have had strong soundtracks in recent years. Twilight paved the way with great compilations beginning in 2008, and The Hunger Games followed suit. Lionsgate and Summit appear to be taking the same direction with their adaptation of Veronica Roth’s dystopian trilogy.
On Wednesday Ellie Goulding announced that she has added subtle vocals to the film’s score (produced by Hans Zimmer), making her the voice of the movie.
Divergent hits theaters March 21, 2014. A new preview of the movie will be released in early March on the Catching Fire DVD and Blu-ray.
