Stiles realizes that all the murder victims were on the Beacon Hills High swim team and the coach at the time was Isaac's father. Stiles and Scott figure the Kanima's master dislikes water. At Lydia's party, Lydia spikes the punchbowl with wolfsbane petals, causing all the party attendees to hallucinate the things they fear most. Using this opportunity, she walks out of the party unnoticed, attacks Derek and brings him to the Hale house, where Peter uses Derek's blood to come back to life. Matt is thrown into the pool but is saved by Jackson when he cries out that he cannot swim. Victoria must kill herself to protect her family before becoming a werewolf; with Chris's help, she stabs herself and dies. Allison is informed shortly of her mother's death. Scott sees a fuming Matt with the Kanima, revealing Matt is the Kanima's master.
